Fire, lightning, and debris removal accounted for the majority of losses at 42.07%, followed by Water damage and freezing at 22.35%. Wind and hail were the reasons for 17.43% of losses. All other property damage, including (but not limited to) vandalism and malicious mischief accounted for 9.32%. (Statistics from the Insurance Information Institute).
