Insurers World finds it important to support both the local community and national philanthropic efforts. Each year, IW participates in many fundraisers and other activities to support those in need.
Our most recent endeavor: Virtual Walk for Breast Cancer
From August 2nd through August 27th, Insurers World will be participating in a virtual walk for breast cancer. This walk will be facilitated by the Gal to Gal foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising money for research and support of stage 4 breast cancer patients, in addition to granting the wishes of these cancer patients. Many patients dream of buying Christmas presents for their children, hosting a family reunion, or having a dream wedding – with the help of this foundation and its valued participants, these dreams are transformed into reality.
IW participants will visit www.galtogalwalk.org and create a male or female virtual walker that can be customized to their tastes. After registering their virtual walkers under the ‘Insurers World’ team name and making a $5 donation, participants will then be encouraged to invite family and friends to join the walk as well. IW will donate $25 to the Gal to Gal foundation for every 5 IW employees that participate. IW also will award a prize to the employee with the most family or friends to sign up!
