Our Quality Assurance Team performs a holistic proactive examination of the contents evaluation file in entirety before its return to the adjuster. The following is an overview of their process:
Review the original assignment and documentation submitted with the contents loss inventory (i.e. adjuster instructions, insured’s documentation, stated limits, photographs, schedules, appraisals).
Perform a QC audit on the individual contents line items. Review claimed quantities, original values and extended pre-settlement valuation. Review the evaluation notes to be sure they are written in a clear and concise manner using acceptable terminology.
Verify that the contents evaluation is well documented and accurate. Proper Like Kind and Quality selections and a Replacement Cost basis from which the adjuster can adjust and settle to a proper coverage C indemnity.
